About Sima

Sima Awad is a certified business coach and strategist with over 20 years’ experience in both the corporate and the small business worlds.

With a background in marketing Sima gained her experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device sector where her career progressed to senior positions in large multinational companies.  Developing business strategies became second nature to her as she successfully led individuals or teams to implement them to achieve growth.

More recently Sima managed a non-profit programme which trained long term unemployed people to set up their own businesses and trial their business ideas on a street market.  Many went on to sign off state benefits and as a result this project was recognised by key figures in government.  She has been a founding member and has served on the committees of various business groups and associations in London.

 Outside work Sima loves cooking and she is always on the lookout for new recipes.  She volunteers for various community projects such as cooking for the homeless or helping at her local church.  Sima was an official consort to the Mayor of Camden in 2015-16, a role which exposed her to the remarkable work of local communities and charities. She also sits on the Board of Trustees of the charity Oasis of Peace UK which supports educating Jewish and Palestinian children together on peace, equality and co-existence, a cause she is passionate about.
